At Tiny Roots Christian Academy, healthy habits start early, and mealtime is more than just food; it's a learning experience.

Children enjoy meals made with real, whole foods sourced locally and organically, and get hands-on experience in gardening, preparing snacks, and understanding where their food comes from.

Children begin to see food as a gift from God and the earth, something to appreciate, care for, and enjoy together. We introduce them to a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and whole foods in fun, age-appropriate ways that support a lifetime of healthy choices.

We're not just feeding little bellies; we’re nurturing grateful hearts, curious minds, and a lifelong respect for the world God made.

Every little one is at the center of our attention. We notice the child who lights up when the ladybug lands on their hand. We remember the child who likes her blanket folded just so at rest time. We celebrate the moment he finally ties his own shoes. Our educators build strong bonds with each student, creating a place where every child feels seen, supported, and celebrated. 

We are intentionally small, not because we have to be, but because we choose to be. At Tiny Roots, we believe quality always comes before quantity. With a maximum of 6 children, every little one in our care receives the individualized attention they need to thrive, feel heard, feel loved, and experience the kind of deep belonging that only comes from an environment that truly feels like home.

God's creation is our classroom, and it never runs out of lessons.

At Tiny Roots, children spend time outdoors every day playing freely, exploring curiously, and connecting with the natural world around them. 

Little ones explore and learn through gardening, free play, or through outdoor sensory driven activities, where they learn patience, responsibility, and the miracle of seeds becoming something beautiful. 

When children explore nature, it teaches curiosity, gratitude, and a deep respect for the world God created.

We are hyper intentional about everything in our environment: the air, the water, the food, and every surface in between.

We clean exclusively with plant-based, fragrance-free, non-toxic products. We run medical-grade air purification throughout our entire space. We serve organic, whole foods free from artificial dyes and additives. No synthetic fragrances, no harsh chemicals, no compromises.

Every detail has been consciously chosen because your child deserves to learn, and grow in a space that is as clean and safe as it is warm and beautiful.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a science of behavior and learning. At Tiny Roots, we use evidence-based practices to meet every child exactly where they are.

When a child gets frustrated learning to wash their hands, we break it down into gentle steps and walk alongside them until they own it. 

When transitions feel hard, we use visual cues and timers to help little ones feel prepared and in control. When a new skill feels big, we model it, support it, and slowly step back, fading our help as their confidence grows.

We use ABA to help us understand how children actually learn and to help them build new skills in ways that feel safe, natural, and joyful.

We look for what children are doing right, name it, and celebrate it. Because the behaviors we acknowledge are the behaviors that grow.

Language is one of the greatest gifts we can give a child early. In the first years of life, young minds are uniquely wired to absorb language naturally, building neural pathways and connections that pour into every area of their development, from communication and confidence to creativity and critical thinking.

We are laying the foundation for bilingual citizens who can communicate, connect, and navigate the world in more than one language.

Our space is thoughtfully prepared with intention and love. Our space has low shelves, real materials, and accessible tools that invite children to reach, choose, and explore on their own terms.

In a Montessori-inspired environment, independence is not just encouraged, it is built, one small moment at a time. The child who selects their own work, pours their own water, and returns their materials to their place is not just learning a skill; they are learning something far more important: that they are capable, that they can try, that they can figure it out.

These early experiences of autonomy become the confidence a child carries long after they leave our space; the gritty, unshakeable kind that helps them face anything.

Your child's safety is sacred to us, and preparation is how we honor that.

Our director is a certified American Red Cross instructor, and all Tiny Roots staff are required to maintain current CPR and AED certification before their first day. We do not wait for emergencies to prepare for them. From our first day of operation, every adult in our space is trained, ready, and equipped to respond.

We maintain accessible emergency equipment on site, conduct regular emergency response drills, and operate with written emergency protocols that are reviewed and updated consistently.

Your child will learn, play, and grow in a space where the adults around them are not just loving, they are prepared.

Faith is not a subject at Tiny Roots; it is the heartbeat of every single day.

We begin each morning gathered together in prayer, setting the tone for a day rooted in gratitude and grace. We open God's Word together, teaching children that the Bible is not just a book; it is a living guide for how to love, how to treat one another, and how to walk through the world with purpose.

Throughout our day, we intentionally teach the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, not as a lesson on a whiteboard, but as a way of living. Children do not just hear about these virtues here; they experience them, practice them, and slowly begin to embody them. At lunch, we practice gratitude and fellowship, slowing down to give thanks for the food on our table and the friends around it. During rest time, little ones drift to sleep wrapped in the gentle sounds of worship lullabies.
